Before the 'ciforge announcement', let's make the pages look good.

Let's discuss here about what to do about this.

Change History

  • status changed from new to assigned.

I'll start with the WikiStart page (mmh...).

I like the purple banner much, but maybe someone could do another one, with the 4webby and orchadea logo.

We could put here links to 4webby and orchadea, links for donations (don't know much about this, can copy-paste the html code on 4webby to raw html on the wiki).

Other ideas ?

I agree this is a good idea - and would be pretty nifty.

I can easily make some good looking banners with GIMP - my website is currently down (I have a number of implementations to build) so we can include the banner, but the link only returns a blank page till I have something to show.

I do think we should have the documentation on someones website - separate from the Wiki.

What about your banner too grahack?

In fact we need four banners: FreakAuth, Sentinel, 4webby, orchadea. Or maybe one for the two first (big header).

Please explain why you want to have the documentation on someones website. I think that having it on the Trac wiki could be very handy. Even CI members could help us.

About a banner for me: I'm just drafting a website for a musical book I want to publish (learning method). So I don't need to have traffic anywhere for the moment (I removed the link, thanks).

I agree the documentation should just be kept on the Trac wiki.

I have alot to do ATM so banners will not be forthcoming for a few days.

Greg can change the CIforge logo to one of ours (so you could try one when you have time (see the original)), but can't do anything for css yet.

I'll wait a bit until we find a cool way to do the "note" sections, before importing all of the docs and FAQ in the Trac wiki.
